A major residential development has broken ground in the Concord Park area of downtown Charleston near the Maritime Center, Fountain Walk, and the South Carolina Aquarium. Anson House, developed by Wharfside Associates, features 33 luxury residences ranging from $1.29 million to $4.95 million for the last remaining penthouse unit, with more than 7,500 square feet of outdoor terrace overlooking the Cooper River, Fort Sumter, and the Atlantic Ocean. A full-time concierge will bring a sense of “Big City” sophistication to the Lowcountry development. Sales are being exclusively handled by Places.
Anson House will not be alone as East West Partners and Dolphin Builders are planning a mixed-use development across the street surrounding the new Concord Park. Their plans call for 233 residences, 45,000 square feet of office/retail space, and a boutique hotel. Prices have not yet been announced for the residences.
