It looks like there is some movement on the downtown Charleston Concord Park site by developer East-West Cumberland Park Associates. The developer is planning on closing on the next section of the property, completing the purchase of the northern section of the park – located at the corner of Calhoun Street and Concord Street. A 60-room hotel, restaurant, and spa health club are planned for that parcel, with residential development of 100+ condominiums planned or the southern end of the parcel at Laurens Street. The troubled, luxury condos at Anson House are located across the street at Concord and Laurens.
